“ I fell in love with this place. I was greeted very kindly and warmly, and was able to look at the menu. It wasn't too large or overwhelming and they had more simple options. They had around 5 different flavor options, the ones you normally expect. They had a wide variety of different types of coffee and some really good looking pastries. My coffee was made quick for only one person working and it was pretty good! It was also quite affordable based on other independent coffee shops. I believe my latte with almond milk was 6.20 for about a 20 oz. I'm in love with the cozy atmosphere, they have a mini library, beautiful windows and a rustic feel. tables are plenty, but spaced well in a smaller place. There are two rooms, so different options. It's a very quiet coffee shop, great for conversation or study. overall, I will be back very soon! ”
“ Excellent coffee shop with top notch pastries from Wild Love Bakehouse (same owners). Best croissant I’ve ever had in any country including France! ”
“ What a delightful morning at Old City Java! The cozy atmosphere, paired with the gentle rain outside, created the perfect ambiance for a productive morning. The coffee was expertly brewed, rich and flavorful, and the raspberry oat scone was a delectable treat. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional customer service. Sara, noticing I had a stevia packet in hand, went out of her way to ask if I wanted it added to my latte. This small gesture made a big difference and showed a level of attention to detail that is truly commendable. Thank you, Old City Java, for providing such a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back. ”
“ I wish we had this place where I am from because I would love there. One of the best looking coffee shops I’ve ever seen. The staff, food and coffee were on fleek. Everything about this little gem was, well, a gem. Grab your beverage and pastry and hang out here for a few, you won’t be sorry. ”
“ We enjoy stopping here for a special breakfast date. Well crafted coffee drinks and good pastry options with a generally quiet environment. Be mindful parking is minimal and generally requires payment. ”
“ Great little place with a very unique decor/ambience. They have a small case of homemade bakery items. All of them looked delicious (see pics). Several types of coffee, plenty of seating. There are two rooms. One of them has the "Starry sky" on the ceiling. (see pics) ”
“ Long-time beloved coffee shop! They have some amazing teas, as well. Highly recommend the turmeric ginger herbal ... perfect complex blend and strength. ”
“ Wow! This place is great! It is everything you could want in a coffee shop. The atmosphere is cozy and warm with lots of comfortable seating and they even have Van Gogh's Starry Night painted on the ceiling. The building is old which adds a lot of character as well. The coffee was rich, not bitter, just perfect. I got a cappuccino and it was great for a cold day. I wasn't able to try any pastries this time but maybe I will in the future because they looked exceptional as well. I will definitely be back! ”
